Active Electrical Supply Salespeople Earn NAED CEP™ Certification

 

Jim Wendling (Account Executive) and Blair L'Ecuyer, (Inside Sales) have earned their Certified Electrical Professional - Outside Sales (CEP-IS™) and Certified Electrical Professional - Inside Sales (CEP-IS™) credentials.

 

They join a growing group of sales professionals who have demonstrated they are dedicated to higher standards of practice in the electrical distribution industry.

 

"Active Electrical Supply prides itself on having the best staff in the area," stated Vice President and Sales Manager Jim Swan.

"Having two of our salespeople become CEP listed is simply a confirmation of their ability. We hope to have many more follow their lead."

 

For those unfamiliar, CEP™ is a certification program for electrical distributors, manufacturers and others in the electrical distribution channel. CEP™ certification identifies that the holder has demonstrated expertise and professionalism in areas such as product knowledge, customer service, sales skills, and communications skills, giving them added credibility in the electrical industry.

Linda Fox Joins the Electrical Association of Chicago's Hall of Fame

 

The Electrical Association of Chicago's Hall of Fame inductions are designed to honor outstanding individuals who have played a key role in the development and nurturing of the electrical industry and who have played a creative role in Chicagoland. This award recognizes individuals whose innovation, hard work, dedication, and vision have fostered growth and social progress.

She joins her father Ray Fox and her late uncle Herb Fox in the Hall of Fame, something which is very important to her.

 

"This is a really meaningful award to my family," Fox said in a recent interview regarding her honor. "My dad and uncle received this award and it means a lot to me to keep up that family tradition and to be recognized by the industry."

 

Linda has served on the Board of the Electric Association, been involved with the Electric Association Education Foundation, and been a long time Board Member of the Women's Division of the Electric Association.

The awards were presented at the Annual Membership Awards Dinner on October 14th 2010 at the Carlisle in Lombard, Illinois.
